Administrative Order issued on 8/28/09 for failure to conduct all standard monitoring for total trihalomethanes (TTHM) and Haloacetic Acids(HAA5)during November 2007 and January 2008 according to system's Standard Monitoring Plan (SMP), as required by the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule (Stage 2 DBPR). The AO requires system to revise and submit an approvable standard monitoring plan(SMP)and collect a dual sample set for total TTHM and for HAA5 at standard site monitoring site number 6 during November 2009, and standard monitoring site number 11 during January 2010 according to your Collect a dual sample set for total TTHM and for HAA5 at standard site monitoring site number 6 during November 2009, and standard monitoring site number 11 during January 2010 according to a revised and EPA approved SMP.
System met the requirements of the AO by monitoring for total trihalomethanes (TTHM) and haloacetic acids (HAA5) according to its revised Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule (Stage 2 DBPR) standard monitoring plan which was approved by EPA on November 6, 2009. Ssystem also submitted an Initial Distribution System Report on February 11, 2010, and EPA issued Rochester Hills a Notification of IDSE Report Completeness February 23, 2010. Finally, system provided public notice for the violations cited in the AO. A letter terminating the AO was issued on March 1, 2010.
