Respondent owned and operated an ink manufacturing facility at the Site from 1974 to 1981. In January 2004, the City of Camden requested EPA to evaluate the Site for removal action eligibility. EPA found that the friable asbestos, inorganic analytes and PAHs throughout the building and site soils posed a health threat and warranted a CERCLA removal action.
