On March 23, 2010, Honeywell Resins and Chemicals LLC (Honeywell), entered into a Consent Agreement/Final Order (CAFO), TSCA 03-2010-0020, with EPA Region III to resolve alleged violations of TSCAÂs Polychorinated Biphenyl (PCB) regulations. The alleged violations concern certain PCB transformers which were located at the Chester, Virginia facility. The violations include the failure to prevent transformer leaks, failure to conduct daily inspections, failure to maintain records of visual inspections and failure to maintain annual documents. Prior to entering into the CAFO, Honeywell voluntarily removed and properly disposed of PCB from the environment. Honeywell is currently in compliance with the terms of the CAFO and will pay a penalty in settlement of the matter.
