The Navy signed an Action Memo on March 25, 2020 for delivery of bottled water to one property due to a Lifetime Health Advisory (LHA) exceedance for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) near the Naval Support Activity facility. Bottled water delivery began on August 27, 2019 after conducting off-site sampling at 63 private residences. This well was the only exceedance of the LHA. The Navy will continue providing bottled water until they determine if they are responsible for the exceedance. If the Navy determines they are responsible they will implement a long-term solution. This Action Memo is one of two Federal Facility's mission measure achievements for March.
