FOUR UTILITY POWER PLANTS CONSTRUCTED MULTIPLE PROJECT WHICH INCREASED AIR EMISSIONS WITHOUT OBTAINING VALID CLEAN AIR ACT PERMITS FOR THE INCREASE EMISSIONS.
This case is part of the National Clean Air Act utility initiative. CAA violations occurred at these four (4) electric generating stations. Claim is that numerous capital improvement projects at all four facilities were subject to either Clean Air Act New Source Review and Prevention of Significant Deterioration, depending on the non-attainment status of the surrounding air and the particular pollutant.
