VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically produced water, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Eagle Creek, located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 22 North, Range 10 East, Osage County, Oklahoma. A June 1, 2006, EPA inspection documented the discharge of brine from the facility. On July 6, 2006, EPA issued to the Respondent a Cease and Desist Order Docket No. CWA-06-2006-2105 for the same violation.
RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should also take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants; take the necessary steps to prevent future discharges; and to neutralize or remove contaminated soils.
