The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source which discharged a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected by the EPA on January 21, 2010, and it was observed that the facility had discharged oil field brine to Wolf Creek. A penalty is being proposed by the EPA for the alleged violations.
