ALCAVIS HDC, LLC

On September 30, 2010, EPA issued a Stop Sale, Use or Removal Order (“SSURO”) to Alcavis HDC, LLC of Gaithersburg, Maryland. The SSURO bars the sale and distribution of Alcavis HDC, LLC’s Bleach Wipe 1:100 dilution product. EPA has determined that the labeling associated with Alcavis HDC, LLC’s Bleach Wipe 1:100 dilution product makes ‘pesticidal claims’ and that it is a pesticide requiring registration. EPA’s records show that Alcavis HDC, LLC’s Bleach Wipe 1:100 dilution product is not registered with EPA as a pesticide, nor has ever been so registered.
