The Respondent, Feather Crest Farms, Inc., owned or operated a facility located in Kurten, Brazos County, Texas. The facility is a concentrated animal feeding operation. On June 18, 2010, an EPA inspector conducted a CEI and determined that the facility was violating its TECQ-issued CAFO permit by land applying wastewater on land application fields without a TCEQ-approved nutrient utilization plan. The Administrative Order is issued for the violation (s) and the
effectively immediately, the respondent shall cease and desist land applying wastewater to land application fields with more than 200 parts-per-million soil phosphorus.
