## Summary

This Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent for Removal Action provides for the performance of a removal action by Respondent and the reimbursement of certain response costs incurred by the US at or in connection with the 80th Avenue Tank Farm Site. The Site is an abandoned fuel transfer and storage facility consisting of at least 22 vertical fuel and chemical storage tanks, two very large propane tanks, a boarded up office building, and an old warehouse. Apparently vandals seeking scrap metal had entered the Site and took valves, tank flanges and piping manifolds which caused residual liquids from the tanks to be released into the environment. EPA initiated an emergency response and secured the tank openings with metal fittings and arranged for 24-hour Site security. These tanks contained benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, styrene, and creosote.
