On February 25, 2010, Region I issued an Immediate Compliance Order under Section 113(a)(3) of the Clean Air Act to the U.S. General Services Administration of Boston, Massachusetts (Respondent). Respondent was cited under the Asbestos NESHAP for failing to provide EPA with written notification of a change in start date as soon as possible for a renovation operation and no later than the original start date. Respondent was cited for failing to provide EPA with revised notification of the renovation of the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse located in Rutland, Vermont. The order requires the Respondent to immediately comply with the Asbestos NESHAP.
