Billy Jack Sharber Operating, LLC

EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Complaint under our authority pursuant to the Clean Water Act (CWA)to Billy Cease and Desist Order. Jack Sharber Operating, LLC, located in Konowa,OK. The Respondent’s oil field facility was a point source which discharged a pollutant to waters of the United States. The facility was inspected by the EPA on April 13, 2011. During the inspection, the EPA observed that a tank battery facility had discharged oil field brine and oil to a tributary of Deep Fork River. A Cease and Desist Administrative Order was issued to Billy Jack Sharber Operating,LLC, on April 26, 2011. The Administrative Complaint was issued in response to violations of Section 301 of the CWA, 33 U.S.C. § 1311.
