On August 12, 2011, Region 10 issued an administrative order to the City of Nezperce, Idaho, which is located within the boundaries of the Nez Perce Reservation. The City has been discharging domestic wastewater that contains pollutants in excess of levels allowed in the CityÂs NPDES permit. The order requires the City to complete a study of corrective measures that will ensure compliance with the permit and funding mechanisms to implement the findings.
