Respondent is a for-profit corporation registered in New York State, operating in wholesale petroleum products, specializing in gasoline. The company owns UST Systems at 63 locations in New York State. Violations of Part 280 requirements were discovered by EPA during UST staff and EPA contractor inspections in calendar year 2009 and 2010. Ten (10) facilities are being cited for violations, which are for cathodic protection, tank leak detection, overfill prevention and closure. The violations have been addressed and compliance achieved.
