On September 27, 2011, Region 1 filed an Administrative Complaint alleging that the Benevento Companies (Benevento Family Limited Partnership, Benevento Asphalt Corp., Benevento Concrete Corp., and Benevento Sand & Stone Corp.) failed to comply with the hazardous chemical reporting requirements established by Section 312 of EPCRA for their quarry, and asphalt and concrete manufacturing facility located in Wilmington, Massachusetts.
