The Record of Decision (ROD) for OU18 Site 34 - TS345 Trap and Skeet Range and OU20 Site 36 - SR347 Old Skeet Range , located at the Joint Base Andrews NPL site in Clinton, Maryland was signed on July 1, 2025. The selected remedy for OU18 and OU20 is excavation of contaminated soil to remove lead shot/pellets, physical separation, and off-site lead pellet recycling for the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP). A 2014 non-time critical removal action (NTCRA) removed lead and PAHs contaminated soil and lead pellets from the majority of the sites which reduced lead to levels below 200 ppm, allowing for unrestricted use and unlimited exposure. However, the NTCRA did not remove a sufficient amount of lead shot pellets to fully address unacceptable ecological risk. LUCs and FYRs are not necessary for these former small arms ranges.
