On September 26, 2011, Region 1 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order (SSURO) to BioSensory, Inc. of Putnam, Connecticut for violating FIFRA. The SSURO was issued pursuant to Section 13(a) of FIFRA and the violations involved the sale and/or distribution of pesticidal devices, the sale and/or distribution of an unregistered and misbranded pesticide, and the failure to submit required reports of importation to EPA.
