This is a civil action brought by the United States against Anaplex Corporation (Anaplex), for injunctive relief and civil penalties for violations of the Clean Water Act (CWA) regulations applicable to the discharge of pollutants to a publicly owned treatment works (POTW) and associated treatment plant, and of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations applicable to the storage, disposal and management of hazardous wastes. The violations alleged in the complaint occurred at a metal finishing facility, owned and operated by Anaplex, located in Paramount, California.
