A stormwater compliance inspection was conducted at the Western Organics/Gro-Well Brands facility located at 9000 Bates SE, Albuquerque, NM, by the New Mexico Environment Department on January 27, 2011, to determine compliance with the Stormwater Multi-Sector General Permit. It was determined the facility failed to apply for permit coverage from October 2009 until May 16, 2010, failed to implement best management practices to control storm water runoff, and failed to conduct required inspections. An administrative order was issued October 7, 2011, to address the violations. A proposed penalty order was also issued.
