On April 24, 2012, Region 10 entered into an Expedited Settlement Agreement in connection with an EPA SPCC Inspection of the Thermo Fluids, Inc. Facility in White City, Oregon that occurred in March 2010. During the inspection, it was determined that Thermo Fluids, Inc. had violations at the facility, including a deficient SPCC plan and inadequate secondary containment measures. The terms of the settlement required the respondent to pay a penalty of $1,400 and correct all found violations within a 60-day time period.
