On February 28, 2012, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order resolving Wilbur Ellis CompanyÂs FIFRA violations. In the settlement, Wilbur-Ellis agreed to pay a $50,320 civil penalty for the sale and distribution of misbranded pesticides. Specifically, on at least 37 occasions, Wilbur-Ellis sold ÂSupreme Oil with labels bearing an invalid EPA establishment number. Wilbur-Ellis was recently fined by Region 9 for similar violations. Upon initial discovery of the problem, EPA issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order (SSURO) prohibiting the sale and distribution of the misbranded product.
