On April 5, 2012, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order that resolves NPDES violations at the Cordova Bulk Facility, owned and operated by the Shoreside Petroleum, Inc. The bulk oil storage facility has an NPDES permit to discharge storm water accumulated in the tank farms. During the period from April 2009 to May 2011, the facility failed to sample the discharges as required by the permit. Shoreside Petroleum, Inc. agreed to pay a penalty of $70,000.
