On October 17, 2011, EPA Region 6 issued a Section 3013 Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act to Elementis Chromium, L.P. (Elementis), located in Corpus Christi, Texas. The AO requires Elementis to perform environmental sampling to determine the nature and extent of releases of hazardous wastes at the facility. Elementis must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of receipt of this AO. For more information, see documents below.
