Respondent operates a salt processing facility located in Newark, NJ and failed to eliminate exposure of source materials to stormwater and failed to implement BMPs that reduce or eliminate the introduction of pollutants into the receiving water, in violation of NJPDES Basic Industrial (5G2) Stormwater General Permit. Stormwater discharges from the site to Port Newark Channel via storm drains.
