## Summary

In October 2008, NYCDEP 26th Ward Regulator No. 1 collapsed causing 1.8 Million Gallons of raw sewage to discharge into Hendrix Creek/Jamaica Bay in Brooklyn NY. This Order allows a time extension due to additional work that NYC must do to stabilize and repair the regulator, maximize flow to the treatment plant and maximize storage in the collection system. The regulator has already been cleaned and the dry weather overflow has already been abated under a previous Order CWA-02-2010-3005.
