On May 15, 2012, EPA Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order to initiate and simultaneously resolve an administrative action filed under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 with Machinists (DSR), Inc. EPA alleged that Machinists (DSR), Inc., a metal coating facility located in Seattle, Washington, failed to submit timely Toxic Chemical Release Inventory Reporting Forms (ÂForm RsÂ) for xylene (mixed isomers) for calendar years 2006, 2007, and 2009. Machinists (DSR), Inc. has agreed to pay a penalty of $8,500.
