The Red Wing Solid Waste Boiler Facility, located in Red Wing, Minnesota, exceeded the emission limit for front-half particulate matter set forth in the Federal Plan Requirements for Small Municipal Waste Combustion (MWC) Units Constructed On or Before August 30, 1999 during a performance test on April 27, 2011. The Red Wing Solid Waste Boiler Facility has made operational changes to prevent future exceedances of the limit, will incorporate those changes into its Title V Operating Permit.
