Pitsch Sanitary Landfill, in Belding, Michigan, allegedly violated testing, monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting requirements in the New Source Performance Standards and NESHAPs for Municipal Waste Landfills. EPA issued a Finding of Violation in July 2011 and met with the company in October 2011 to discuss the allegations. This Compliance Order will bring Pitsch into compliance with the Clean Air Act.
