## Summary

On June 1, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to John L Lewis Well Service located in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.  The AO was issued in response to violation of Section 301 of the CWA.  The AO requires John L. Lewis Well Service to: 1)  cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; 2) remove all brine from the flow path located in between the facility and the identified tributary of the Canadian River; and 3) remove all brine from the tributary of the Canadian River,  located at Latitude 34ï¿½ 54.450ï¿½ North and Longitude 96ï¿½ 31.670ï¿½ West, which were discharged from the facility on or about May 7, 2012.  John L. Lewis Well Service must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of receiving the AO.
