## Summary

On June 13, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Southwest Petroleum Corporation located in Creek County Oklahoma. The AO was issued in response to violation of Section 301 of the CWA. The AO requires Southwest Petroleum Corporation to (1) Cease all discharges of pollutants from the facility; (2) remove all brine from the flow path located in between the facility and the identified tributary of Cimarron River; and (3) remove all brine from the tributary of Cimarron River.  Southwest Petroleum Corporation must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of receiving the AO.
