Park Nicollet Health Services (PNHS) failed to comply with the recordkeeping and reporting requirements in the National Emission Standards for Hospital Ethylene Oxide Sterilizers. The CAFO requires the PNHS to pay an $18,750 civil penalty. It also requires PNHS to spend at least $56,250 to conduct a supplemental environmental project that is designed to protect families in low-income neighborhoods by abating lead-based paint hazards.
