On June 18, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Penalty Order (APO) under its authority pursuant to the Clean Water Act (CWA) to J.D. Sinclair Production, Inc., located in El Dorado, AR. The APO was issued in response to violations of Seciton 301 of the CWA, 33 U.S.C. Section 1311. The APO requires J.D. Sinclair Production, Inc. to pay the proposed penalty for the alleged CWA violations. J.D. Sinclair Production, Inc. must respond to EPA Region 6 within 10 days of receipt of the Order.
