On July 27, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Complaint (Complaint) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to ONEOK Hydrocarbon, L.P., located in Medford, Oklahoma. The Complaint was issued in response to violation of Section 301 of the CWA. The violations are for the discharge of a pollutant, specifically brine, to waters of the U.S. The Complaint requires ONEOK Hydrocarbon, L.P. to pay a civil penalty. ONEOK Hydrocarbon, L.P. must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty (30) days of receiving the Complaint.
