On September 27, 2012, EPA Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order to initiate and simultaneously resolve an administrative action filed under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 with Leftwich Foundry, Inc. EPA alleged that Leftwich Foundry, a gray iron and ductile iron castings manufacturer located in Moses Lake, Washington, failed to submit timely Toxic Chemical Release Inventory Reporting Forms for lead and manganese for calendar years 2007 through 2009. Leftwich Foundry has agreed to pay a penalty of $124,300.
