This case dealt with NSPS Subpart UUU violations related to foundry's thermal sand reclaimers and NSPS Subpart UUU applicability. The case is concluded with the ACO requiring stack testing to quantify their emissions and to take Method 22 readings whenever the emission unit is in operation. Due to the issues surrounding NSPS Subpart UUU and foundry operations, no penalty was sought.
