On October 17, 2012, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Sections 308 and 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to Rickaway Energy, Corp. located in Floresville, Texas. The AO was issued in response to violation of Section 301 of the CWA for discharging without a permit. The AO requires Rickaway Energy, Corp. to: 1) cease the discharge of pollutants from the facility; and 2) submit written certification of compliance. Rickaway Energy, Corp. must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of receiving the AO.
