On March 6, 2013, Region 10 filed a Consent Agreement and Final Order with Salamatof Seafoods, Inc. (Salamatof) that resolves violations of the CWA NPDES/APDES Seafood Processors that occurred at SalamatofÂs shore-based processing plant in Kenai, Alaska. Violations included failure to submit annual reports, failure to meet the grind-size requirement, and discharging from a severed outfall. Salamatof agreed to pay a penalty of $45,000.
