On 1/11/2010 approximately 1200 lbs of ammonia (RQ = 100 lbs) was released at the MFW facility in Worthington, MN when high pressure in the refrigeration system caused a relief valve to vent. MFW reported the release 22 days after its occurrence which is a violation of both EPCRA and CERCLA regulations.
