On March 30, 1995, EPA issued a final administrative order on consent for the Chalmette Refinery in Chalmette, LA. Pursuant to 3008(h) of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Chalmette Refinery is required to identify and investigate releases of hazardous waste and ensure correctve action activities are protective of human health and the environment.
