On April 25, 2013, Region 10 entered into an Expedited Settlement Agreement in connection with an EPA SPCC Inspection of the Bethel Utilities Corporation Facility in Bethel, Alaska that occurred in July 2012. During the inspection, it was determined that the Facility had violations based on a deficient SPCC plan. The terms of the settlement required the respondent to pay a penalty of $1,500 and correct all found violations within a 30-day time period.
