Summary

Village of Findlay violated the Maximun Contaminant Levels (MCL) under the federal drinking water regulations. Which required the system to meet the arsenic MCL of 0.010 mg/L. The system highest runing average was 0.012mg/L, 0.013, and 0.013mg/L. On January 23, 2015, the Village of Findlay inactivated its wells and connected to EJ Water Cooperative. On June 3, 2015, U.S. EPA received confirmation from Dave McMillan of Illinois EPA that the Village of Findlay?s wells were inactivated and that Findlay PWS was officially connected to EJ Water Cooperative and the PWS was only serving purchased water to its customers.
