On June 20, 2013, EPA issued an Administrative Order on Consent (AOC) to the Town of Exeter, New Hampshire to address violations of the seasonal total nitrogen limit in the TownÂs NPDES Permit reissued on December 12, 2012. The AOC includes a schedule for developing and implementing controls for total nitrogen load to the Squamscott River and Great Bay Estuary from the TownÂs treatment plant, its non-point sources and its stormwater point sources.
