On April 18, 2013 a Complaint. Consent Agreement and Final Order was issued to UOP LLC for failure to make a hazardous wasste detemination on spent acetone, treating hazardous waste without a permit and storing hazardous waste without a permit. As part of settlement, UOP has agreed to pay a penalty of $10,000 and to spend not less that $40,745 in SEP. UOP satisfied the requirements of the CAFO and on 11/13/2013, a closure letter was mailed to UOP.
