This is a penalty action against Ventura Foods LLC (Respondent) under both CERCLA §103 and EPCRA §304 for its late notification to appropriate authorities of a release of over 100 pounds of anhydrous ammonia to the environment on September 1, 2010. Respondent has agreed to pay a civil penalty of $17,300.
