This Order pertains to an abandoned, industrial manufacturing/warehouse property located at 170 East 13lst Street, Cleveland, Ohio (the Site). This Order requires the Respondents to conduct removal activities described herein to abate an imminent and substantial endangerment to the public health, welfare or the environment that may be presented by the actual or threatened release of hazardous substances at or from the Site. The Site encompasses approximately 14 acres and included a 570,000 square foot building constructed in 1917 by the National Acme Company. The Site was historically used as a machine and tool manufacturing facility and later as a warehouse. The current owner of the Site property is Acme Realty, LLC.
