Sierra Charter School failed to conduct an AHERA building inspections and develop an asbestos management plan as required under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency response Act (AHERA). Sierra Charter School has since come into compliance with AHERA. Sierra Charter School was fined $2,700, which was applied toward the cost of coming into compliance with AHERA requirements.
