EPA NPDES staff conducted construction storm water inspections at the above referenced construction site, on June 6. 2013. Northern Improvement Co. is the contractor and permit holder for the site. The project is listed as 13.38 disturbed acres. The project began construction in October 2012 and Northern Improvement Co.Âs responsibilities will be transferred to another contractor for completion of the construction approximately July 2013. Violations of the North Dakota General Stormwater Permit were observed at the site, including: failure to perform site inspections as dictated in the permit and failure to implement and maintain storm water best management practices.
