On September 26, 2013, Region 10 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) to Alaska Commercial Contractors, Inc. (ACC) for violations of the Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule. Region 10 alleged that ACC did not comply with the RRP requirements because they failed to provide pre-renovation information or follow lead-safe work practices, and did not become a certified firm or renovator prior to performing renovation work on pre-1978 residential properties. ACC agreed to pay a penalty of $32,130.
