This is an Administrative Penalty action pursuant to EPCRA 313 issued to Veris Gold USA, Inc, formerly known as Queenstake Resources USA, Inc, dba Jerritt Canyon Mine. The alleged violations involve failure to file timely Toxic Chemical Release Inventory forms required under Section 313 for arsenic compounds, cobalt compounds, copper compounds, cyanide compounds, lead compounds, mercury compounds, nickel compounds, nitric acid, propylene, and zinc compounds in 2007 and 2008. The alleged violations were observed during a facility inspection in April 2009.
