## Summary

EPA Region 8 filed an Administrative Order on Consent (Consent Order) with Vac-U-Jet Septic and Sump Service, Inc. (Vac-U-Jet) under section 309 of the Clean Water Act for illegally land applying domestic septage in western North Dakota. This Order was based on Vac-U-Jet’s response to a Clean Water Act information request indicating that Vac-U-Jet was not complying with the domestic septage land application requirements. Region 8 will consider closing the Consent Order after 12 months, depending on Vac-U-Jet’s compliance with the Consent Order and underlying regulations. NPDES Enforcement has coordinated closely with the North Dakota Department of Health on this matter.
